Lake Brandt will host an open house to showcase some of the animal ambassadors of the ECO Bus from 10 am to 1 pm, Saturday, March 23, at the marina, 5945 Lake Brandt Rd. This event is free and individuals who plan educational programs for schools, nursing homes, or day cares are encouraged to attend.
Come see and touch some native and non-native animals and learn cool facts about each species. This is a great opportunity for formal and non-formal educators to speak to Parks and Recreation staff about environmental education programming opportunities.
