Annual City Paving Projects Begin March 4

Greensboro’s 2024 road paving projects get underway Monday, March 4. Sections of streets will undergo various stages of resurfacing that will affect traffic flow in those areas. Next week’s work schedule for specific streets is listed below. Project updates will be publicized on Fridays for the following week.

Projects happening March 4-8
Jobs will alternate lane closures from 7 am to 6 pm
~ Bashford Ln. between Bywood Rd. and Fernbrook Rd. – Adjusting structures
~ Byron Pl. between Bywood Rd. and Woodridge Ave. – Adjusting structures
~ Dunnhill Dr. between Bashford Ln. and Woodridge Ave. – Adjusting structures
~ Fernbrook Rd. between Bywood Rd. and the end – Adjusting structures
~ Woodridge Ave. between Larchmont Dr. and Fernbrook Rd. – Adjusting structures

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid work areas or follow detour signs and adhere to traffic flagger directions.

Work schedules for each job are dependent on weather conditions and material/equipment availability.
