At 9 am Monday, January 29, construction on the final section of the Downtown Greenway (Phase 4) begins from Smith Street to Spring Garden Street. The work closes the gravel pathway between those streets to all pedestrian and cyclist traffic until the greenway is complete, which is expected to be in the summer of 2025.
Also, beginning Monday, January 29, the Downtown Greenway along N. Murrow Boulevard between E. Lindsay Street and E. Fisher Avenue will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists. The closure is due to bridge repair work along Murrow, over N. Church Street.
