A launch party celebrating a series of impactful, public art projects honoring the rich history of the Warnersville neighborhood will take place at 3pm on Saturday, February 17 at the Warnersville Recreation Center, 601 Doak St.

“The City of Greensboro is excited to partner with the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and the Warnersville Community Coalition,” said the City’s Chief Creative Economy Officer Jocquelyn Boone. “Thriving communities enhance the vibrancy of our city and projects like this shine a bright light on the unique culture within our historic communities.”

Local organizations receiving support for these projects are African American Atelier, Creative Aging Network-NC, Gant School of Music, Shared Radiance, and TAB Arts Center.
