Draft 2024-2033 Transportation Improvement Program Available for Review until September 12

On behalf of the Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the Greensboro Department of Transportation has published the Draft 2024-2033 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP). The Draft MTIP provides official scheduling and funding information for state- and federally-funded transportation projects in the MPO area between Fiscal Year 2024-2033. 

Residents and other interested persons are invited to review and comment on the Draft MTIP by September 12. Comments may be submitted online, by email to Transportation Planner Craig McKinney, or at a hybrid public meeting that will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Thursday, August 17 at the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St., and online. Registration is required to attend.

The MTIP is scheduled for approval at the September 20 MPO’s Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting, 2 pm, Wednesday, September 20, held online. The new MTIP will go into effect October 1.
