City’s 2023 Resurfacing Projects Continue May 23-30

Sections of Greensboro are undergoing various stages of street resurfacing that will affect traffic flow in those areas. Specific streets affected, when and for what are listed below. These jobs are part of the City’s 2023 Resurfacing project and will be publicized weekly. 

Project for May 23
Job will alternate lane closures from 7 am to 6 pm
~ Alma Pinnix Dr. between Cone Blvd. and Golden Gate Dr. – Adjusting Structures
Project for May 23 & 26

Job will alternate lane closures from 7 am to 6 pm
~ Portland St. between Haywood St. and Oak St. – Milling, Paving
Project for May 23-26 and May 30

Job will alternate lane closures from 9 am to 4 pm
~ N. Elm St. between W. Smith St. and W. Cornwallis Dr. – Curb Ramps, Adjusting Structures
Projects for May 24

Jobs will alternate lane closures from 7 am to 6 pm
~ Muncey Lane between Bothwell St. and Edmond Dr. – Paving
~ E. Bothwell St. between Willow Rd. and dead end – Paving
~ W. Bothwell St. between Willow Rd. and dead end – Paving
~ Willow Rd. between E. Gate City Blvd. and I-40 – Paving
Project for May 25
Job will alternate lane closures from 7 am to 6 pm
~ Koury Blvd. between Vanstory St. and I-40 exit ramp – Paving
Project for May 25-26 and May 30
Job will alternate lane closures from 7 am to 6 pm
~ Naco Rd. between Franklin Blvd. and Oferrell St. – Curb Ramps
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid work areas or follow detour signs and adhere to traffic flagger directions.
Work schedules for each job are dependent on weather conditions and material/equipment availability.
