Parks and Recreation is in the midst of a $1.1 million pool renovation project, funded with City Council-approved American Rescue Plan Act funds.
“This significant investment will provide much-needed improvements to our pools and is part of our larger commitment growing a modern, equitable aquatics system,” said Parks and Recreation Director Phil Fleischmann. “We’re grateful for the community’s continued patience while we complete this work. This summer, we’ll offer free admission, extended pool hours, and shuttle service to ensure everyone gets to splash.”

Warnersville and Windsor pools will open weekends, 11 am to 6 pm, May 27 to September 4*. Warnersville is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 11 am to 7 pm, June 13 to August 27. Windsor is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 am to 7 pm, June 12 to August 27.
Barber and Keeley Park spraygrounds will open 11 am to 5:30 pm, Mondays through Saturdays, and 1-5:30 pm Sundays, from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

Lindley Pool
Lindley’s pool deck is currently being resurfaced. The pump room at Lindley is also in need of significant structural repair. Plans have been created for this phase of repair but are being redesigned as more issues were identified on the deck subsurface during the resurfacing project. A proposal is currently under development for this revision. The pool cannot open until these repairs are complete, therefore Lindley will be closed this summer.
Peeler Pool
Peeler repairs include a new pump and reconditioning of the pool deck and shell. The cost of the work was estimated to be more than $300,000, which required plans to be created by an engineer or architect. This requirement has extended the repair process. Draft designs are under review and then must go to the Health Department for final approval. Work will begin following the completion of plan approval and bidding. Peeler will be closed this summer.
Warnersville Pool
Warnersville pool will open this summer. Upgrades at this location will begin after this pool season has ended.
Windsor Pool
Windsor pool will be open this summer.
