Did you know the housing supply in the US is roughly four million units short of what is needed to effectively house everyone? This has a cascading effect on everything from affordable housing to rental units throughout the country.
To counter this, officials on every level are lending their expertise. In addition, the American Planning Association (APA) has partnered with the National League of Cities (NLC) to launch the Housing Supply Accelerator to address these critical housing issues.
Greensboro City manager Taiwo Jaiyeoba is a committee member on the APA Steering Committee.
