Guilford County Commissioners are finishing up their final day of the 2023 National Association of Counties (NACo) Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. The conference started Saturday, Feb. 11 and runs through close of business today.
The conference has been filled meetings, educational workshops, and conference-wide events such as general sessions featuring speakers ranging from Hon. Pete Buttigieg, U.S. Secretary of Transportation to NACo Broadband Summit on Local Coordination and Digital Equity to the Conference-Wide Lunch and Special Closing General Session this afternoon where President Joe Biden with address county leaders from across the county.
Guilford County Commissioners continue to represent our community well on this national stage and are eager to share and implement information they have received to make our county an even better place to live, work, and grow.
