Construction of the new Claxton Elementary School is now underway. Upon completion, the new, innovative facility will challenge the traditional classroom makeup through design that leads to inquiry-based learning. It will create indoor and outdoor connectivity and embrace the community that it is embedded within.
The new facility will have outdoor play and learning spaces, and a unique second floor outdoor learning patio. Completion of this 2020 bond project is scheduled for February 2024.
