Internship: Young joins Ernst and Young as an intern in their Audit Department in Baltimore, Maryland. In her role, she assists in various financial audit engagements in different industry sectors.

How HPU helped you get there: “The connections I made at HPU helped me land this role by helping me get my foot in the door — I’ve had access to so many innovators and professionals. The environment at HPU has taught me proper dining etiquette and how to talk to anyone in any environment. Career advisors in the Office of Career and Professional Development helped me build my resume and cover letter.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “George Noxon and Kathy Elliott, professors in the Phillips School of Business, have shaped me into a great student and have mentored me throughout my college journey.”

What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future?: “My internship has prepared me for the future by providing me hands-on experience within my team and by offering networking opportunities to connect with other Ernst and Young staff.”
