The Guilford County Pet Food Pantry was founded by Guilford County Animal Services with the goal of keeping pets in homes with their families by providing supplemental food to pet owners in need.
We open our Pet Food Pantry every third Thursday of the month from 4pm to 6pm when we have enough donated food.
Our pet food pantry is located at 710 Huffine Mill Rd. Greensboro, NC 27405
Food Pantry Rules
In order to receive pet food assistance from the Guilford County Animal Services, you must meet the requirements below:
1. You must be a resident of Guilford County. If your ID does not have your correct address on it, you may provide two pieces of mail with your name and correct address on it as proof of residency.
2. You must have a valid government issued ID such as a drivers license, state ID or passport. College or school IDs cannot be accepted.
3. Due to limited quantities of food, you must own the animal(s) and be able to provide proof of ownership for your pets. This can be through vet records, rabies certificate, registration papers, or adoption contract that has a description of the pet and your correct information on it.
4. You must fill out a registration application online. If you are unable to fill out an application online, please ask for assistance through email or in person. We are happy to provide assistance with registration.
Please bring your ID, proof of residency if different from ID, and proof of ownership for your animals when you come to pick up food for the first time. We will then just need your ID at time of pick up.
