Free Food and STI Testing in Observance of Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Thursday, March 10

Guilford County issued the following announcement on Mar. 8.

In observance of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD), the Guilford County Division of Public Health (GCDPH) Sexual Health Action Group (SHAG) will provide free HIV and STI testing, and free food incentives on:

  • Thursday, March 10
  • 11 AM – 2 PM
  • 628 Summit Avenue Greensboro, NC 27405 (The Women’s Resource Center)
Free Chick-Fil-A boxed meals and testing services are available for all participants. No Identification is required.

Testing services will include free and confidential testing for:

  • HIV
  • Syphilis
  • Hepatitis
  • Gonorrhea
  • Chlamydia
With this testing event, the SHAG hopes to increase HIV education, testing, community involvement, and treatment in the Guilford County community.

The Sexual Health Action Group is a Guilford County Division of Public Health program that provides services that promote safer sexual practices and prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
