Community members should take advantage of early-voting options before it is too late, the Guilford County Republican Party said, while offering a voting guide aimed at Republican balloters.
The county Republican Party's reminder in its October Facebook post comes with only two weeks left before Election Day, in a state with many high-profile races.
As of Oct. 23, more than 2.6 million North Carolina residents have voted early, according to statistics from the U.S. Election Project. Republicans represent 29.1% of that total, while Democrats make up 41.7%. In Guilford County, the site reported that 138,546 people had submitted a ballot, which is 36.8% of registered voters.
Early voting is available to county residents every day from now through the election, except on Sunday, Nov. 1 and Monday, Nov. 3, according to the voting guide published on the Guilford County Republican Party's website. The county's 25 early voting locations, listed on the site, are open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Voting on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, will take place at assigned precincts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the post.
The party's 2020 Shareable Voting Guide offers a sample ballot with all of the Republican candidates for office marked.
