High Point University once again received the top spot in two separate categories in the U.S. News and World Report’s annual “America’s Best Colleges.”
According to a Sept. 14 High Point release, the university was named the Best Regional College in the South for the ninth consecutive year and the Most Innovative College in the South for the sixth straight year.
The Best Regional College in the South recognition comes with a perfect overall score related to a combined look at outcomes, faculty resources, expert opinion, financial resources, student excellence and alumni giving, the university said in its release.
Most Innovative College in the South considers surveys completed by presidents, provosts and admissions deans who rank institutions based on curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology and facilities, the university said in its release.
Additionally, High Point University was recognized in the Best Undergraduate Teaching in the South, Best Value and Top 50 in the Nation First-Year Experience categories, the university said in its release.
