Guilford College recently issued the following announcement.
Public Safety Director and former police officer Jermaine Thomas; Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Title IX Coordinator, and former NYPD officer Barbara Lawrence; and Part-Time Lecturer for Justice and Policy Studies Nathaniel ‘Trey’ Davis III, who works as a liaison to bridge divides between the community and the police, will discuss their thoughts on police brutality, experiences as Black officers, and more at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
