High Point University graduates are continuing to reach new heights, learning skills that employers seek for their companies, according to a report on the school's website.
The university's data, which complies with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) standards, revealed that 97% of 2019 graduates began their technical careers within six months of leaving college, according to the March 17 report. The review suggested that 97% is 11 points more than the national average.
Stephanie Crofton, university vice president for Experiential Learning and Career Development, said High Point students graduate with technical skills as well as life skills and added that these are the traits employers need.
“High Point University is the premiere life skills university where students graduate with both the technical and life skills that they need to be immediately successful for their career,” Crofton said in the report. “That is why our students are in such demand with employers around the country, and why HPU has a phenomenal job and graduate school placement rate.”
