On Tuesday, March 25, former Southwest Guilford High School standout Wyatt Stanley’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.
The game took place at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Mercer Bears.
