The Guilford County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a work session for Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 4:00PM in the Carolyn Q. Coleman Conference Room located on the first floor of the Old County Courthouse, 301 W. Market St., Greensboro, NC. The purpose of the work session is to: discuss disposition of county property located at 4525 W. Wendover Avenue, the former location of the Guilford County Animal Shelter; consider a project change order for architectural services associated with the Sheriff’s Office Project; hold a closed session pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-318.11 (a)(3) to consult with the County Attorney; and conduct any other necessary business.

THE MEETING ROOM WILL BE OPEN FOR IN-PERSON CITIZEN AND

MEDIA PARTICIPATION

The Board remains committed to providing an open and transparent public process and will also offer a virtual viewing option through the ZOOM web-based platform.

Citizens and members of the media who choose not to attend the meeting in-person may watch and/or listen by:

Visiting the Zoom platform via computer, tablet or smartphone by at https://www.zoomgov.com/j/1619038050, completing the webinar registration, selecting the option to join from the confirmation email prior to meeting start and choosing one of the following audio options:

Use your computer, table or smartphone’s speaker (a headset/headphones are recommended); or

Select “Use Telephone” after joining the webinar, call (833) 435-1820 and entering the webinar ID 161 903 8050, if required.

The meeting will also be livestreamed on Guilford County’s Facebook page.
