On Thursday, March 20, former Southwest Guilford High School standout Damyia McFadden’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Catawba Indians.

The game took place at Whitley Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Indians this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Red Edmonds Field against Tusculum Pioneers.
