Guilford County Public Health Now Offering Pfizer COVID-19 Booster Doses to Ages 16 – 17

Guilford County issued the following announcement on Dec. 10.

Pursuant to FDA, CDC, and NCDHHS guidance recommending that anyone aged 16 -17 should receive a Pfizer COVID-19 booster dose, the Guilford County Division of Public Health (GCDPH) will offer Pfizer booster doses at all GCDPH clinics as early as Saturday, December 11.

Booster COVID-19 doses are available to:

  • Pfizer: Individuals aged 16 -17 who received their second dose six months ago. Parental consent is required.
  • Moderna and Pfizer: Individuals aged 18 and older who received their second dose six months ago.
  • Johnson & Johnson: Individuals aged 18 and older who received their second dose two months ago.

Booster doses for 16-17-year old’s will be available at the next GCDPH clinic which is scheduled for Saturday, December 11 from 9 AM-5 PM at James B. Dudley High School (1200 Lincoln St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
