Guilford County Parks adjust winter hours, shelter rates, and bathroom access

Guilford County issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.

Guilford County Parks is adjusting park hours, rental rates, and bathroom availability for the winter season. Starting Nov. 8, some facilities will be winterized, so there will be fewer restrooms open. Visitors should also note the following Gilford County Parks hours of operation effective Nov. 8.

Gibson Park, Northeast Park and Hagan-Stone Park are open daily from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hagan-Stone Park will begin offering long-term stays for RV’s during non-peak season. For more information, call the park at 336-641-2090.

Southwest is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The marina is open Friday through Sunday only in Nov. The marina will close for the season on Nov. 28. Southwest Park is closed during the entire month of December.

Bur- Mil Park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Golf Shop/Driving Range is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Guilford County Parks is offering discounted shelter rentals from now until early spring. Most shelter rentals are almost 50% off. Please call the parks at 336-641-PARK(7275) to inquiry about a shelter rental or indoor event space rental.
