City of Burlington recently issued the following announcement.

Date: December 31, 2021 - January 2, 2022

Time: All Day

Location:

Animal Services Pet Adoption & Resource Center will be closed for the New Year Holiday from Friday December 31, 2021 through Sunday January 2, 2021. Regular business hours will resume on Monday January 3rd at 8:00 am. If you have an animal related emergency during this time, please dial 911. One of our on-call officers will be available to assist you. 

Foster volunteers with an urgent or emergency issue should call the foster mobile number. 

All other inquiries: email animalservices@burlingtonnc.gov. Note that unless it is an urgent matter, staff will not respond before Monday January 3rd.
